Nathan is a proof of concept framework for creating a personal assistant who can handle various day to day functions for you.

This workflow stores responses form responses of Typeform in Airtable. The workflow also sends the response to a channel on Slack. You will have to configure the Set node if your form uses different fields.

Cron node: This node triggers the workflow every day. Notion node: This node fetches all the tasks from Notion. IF node: This node checks if the task is assigned to a particular user. Create a Direct Message: This node will create a direct message channel with the user. Send a Direct Message: This node will send the to-do lists in the direct message. NoOp: This node is connected to the false output of the IF node. If the condition is false, no further action will be taken.

This workflow allows you to add positive feedback messages to a table in Notion. Prerequisites Create a Typeform that contains Long Text filed question type to accepts feedback from users. Get your Typeform credentials by following the steps mentioned in the documentation. Follow the steps mentioned in the documentation to create credentials for Google Cloud Natural Language. Create a page on Notion similar to this page. Create credentials for the Notion node by following the steps in the documentation. Follow the steps mentioned in the documentation to create credentials for Slack. Follow the steps mentioned in the documentation to create credentials for Trello. Typeform Trigger node: Whenever a user submits a response to the Typeform, the Typeform Trigger node will trigger the workflow. The node returns the response that the user has submitted in the form. Google Cloud Natural Language node: This node analyses the sentiment of the response the user has provided and gives a score. IF node: The IF node uses the score provided by the Google Cloud Natural Language node and checks if the score is positive (larger than 0). If the score is positive we get the result as True, otherwise False. Notion node: This node gets connected to the true branch of the IF node. It adds the positive feedback shared by the user in a table in Notion. Slack node: This node will share the positive feedback along with the score and username to a channel in Slack. Trello node: If the score is negative, the Trello node is executed. This node will create a card on Trello with the feedback from the user.

This workflow is scheduled to run every week, when it gets all your Shopify orders, calculates their sales value, stores the data in Google Sheets, and sends a notification message to a Slack channel.

This workflow is triggered when a meeting is scheduled via Calendly. Then, an activity is automatically created in Pipedrive and 15 minutes after the end of the meeting, a message is sent to the interviewer in Slack, reminding them to write down their notes and insights from the meeting.

This workflow is triggered when a new deal is created in HubSpot. Then, it processes the deal based on its value and stage. The first branching follows three cases: If the deal is closed and won, a message is sent in a Slack channel, so that the whole team can celebrate the success. If a presentation has been scheduled for the deal, then a Google Slides presentation template is created. If the deal is closed and lost, the deal’s details are added to an Airtable table. From here, you can analyze the data to get insights into what and why certain deals don’t get closed. The second branching follows two cases: If the deal is for a new business and has a value above 500, a high-priority ticket assigned to an experienced team member is created in HubSpot If the deal is for an existing business and has a value below 500, a low-priority ticket is created.

This workflow sends a message on Slack when site deployment fails. Netlify Trigger node: This node triggers the workflow when the site deployment fails. Slack node: This node sends a message on Slack alerting the team about the failed deployment. If you want to send a message to a different platform, replace the Slack node with the node of the respective platform.

I'm currently trialing a 4 day work week for all staff at my company, and one of the major impacts on productivity is interruptions. As such, I opted to use N8N to create a workflow to monitor my Google Calendar and when an event starts, to update my Slack status with an emote and the title of the calendar task. Additionally I opted to include to change the colour of Philips Hue lamp located in my living room where my wife is currently working so she know's if she can interrupt me or not. My calendar is built on the theory behind the Diary Detox system and as such the Slack Status reflect the colours involved. This was achieved using the emote aliases for the relevant colour circles. The Philips Hue lamp status is changed via the local API with Home Assistant. This is a very similiar process to controlling it with something like the Streamdeck, but the workflow calls the Webhook instead of the Streamdeck. This process can be found in lots of Youtube videos such as this. This gives my wife a very quick and easy way to know if she can interrupt me in my office (when the lights are Green or Blue) or when I'm busy (Red). Typically the Bot User OAuth Token is used, however in order for your Status to be updated, the User OAuth Token must be used with the users.profile:read and users.profile:write permissions enabled. This workflow searches for mentions of a company's name on Twitter and shares the tweets that mention it in a Slack channel. Prerequisites A Slack account and credentials A Twitter account and credentials Nodes Cron node executes the workflow every 10 minutes. Note that if you change the Mode from "Every X" you will need to manually update the Date & Time node to subtract the interval you are using. Set nodes set the required values (name of the Slack channel, name of the Twitter account to search for, the tweet text and URL). Date & Time node subtracts 10 minutes from the workflow execution time. Twitter node gets the latest 50 tweets that mention the specified account. IF node filters tweets posted in the past 10 minutes. Slack node posts tweets in a Slack channel.

This workflow checks for new emails in a mailbox and if the email body contains the word "invoice" it will send the attachment to Mindee. It then posts a message to Slack to let the team know a payment needs to be made, If the value of the invoice is over 1000 it will also email the finance manager. To use this workflow you will need to configure the IMAP node to select the correct mailbox to use then configure the Mindee node to use your credentials. Once that is done the Send Email node will need to be configured to use the correct mail server and to send to the correct people, The last thing to configure is the Slack node this will need your Slack credentials and the channel you want to post the message to.

The webhook URL gets added to the “Endpoint URL” field, and the “Request method” should match what is shown in n8n. Save the webhook. In Zendesk, navigate to Admin Center > Objects and rules > Business rules > Triggers > Add trigger. Give trigger a name such as “New tickets”. This n8n workflow automates the analysis of email messages received in a Microsoft Outlook inbox to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), specifically suspicious URLs. It can be triggered manually or scheduled to run daily at midnight. The workflow begins by retrieving up to 100 read email messages from the Outlook inbox. However, there seems to be a configuration issue as it should retrieve unread messages, not read ones. It then marks these messages as read to avoid processing them again in the future. The messages are then split into individual items using the Split In Batches node for sequential processing. For each email, the workflow analyzes its content to find URLs, which are considered potential IOCs. If URLs are found, the workflow proceeds to check these URLs for potential threats using two services, URLScan.io and VirusTotal, in parallel. In the first path, URLScan.io scans each URL, and if there are no errors, the results from URLScan.io and VirusTotal are merged. If there are errors, the workflow waits 1 minute before attempting to retrieve the URLScan results again. The loop then continues for the next email. In the second path, VirusTotal is used to scan the URLs, and the results are retrieved. Finally, the workflow checks if the data field is not empty, filtering out items where no data was found. It then sends a summarized Slack message to report details about the analyzed email, including the subject, sender, date, URLScan report URL, and VirusTotal verdict for URLs that were reported as malicious. Potential issues during setup include configuring the Outlook node to retrieve unread messages, resolving a configuration issue in the VirusTotal node, and handling authentication and API keys for both URLScan.io and VirusTotal nodes. Additionally, proper error handling and testing with various email content types and URLs are essential to ensure the workflow accurately identifies IOCs and reports them to the Slack channel.

This n8n workflow is designed for security monitoring and incident response when suspicious login events are detected. It can be initiated either manually from within the n8n UI for testing or automatically triggered by a webhook when a new login event occurs. The workflow first extracts relevant data from the incoming webhook payload, including the IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL, and user ID. It then splits into three parallel processing paths. In the first path, it queries GreyNoise's Community API to retrieve information about the investigated IP address. Depending on the classification and trust level received from GreyNoise, the alert is given a High, Medium, or Low priority. Once a priority is assigned, a message is sent to a Slack channel to notify users about the alert. The second path involves fetching geolocation data about the IP address using IP-API's Geolocation API and merging it with data from the UserParser node. This data is then combined with the data obtained from GreyNoise. In the third path, the UserParser node queries the Userparser IP address and user agent lookup API to obtain information about the user's IP and user agent. This data is merged with the IP-API data and GreyNoise data. The workflow then checks if the IP address is considered an unknown threat by examining both the noise and riot fields from GreyNoise. If it is considered an unknown threat, the workflow proceeds to retrieve the last 10 login records for the same user from a Postgres database. If there are any discrepancies in the login information, indicating a new location or device/browser, the user is informed via email. Potential issues when setting up this workflow include ensuring that credentials are correctly entered for GreyNoise and UserParser nodes, and addressing any discrepancies in the data sources that could lead to false positives or negatives in threat detection. Additionally, the usage of hardcoded API keys should be replaced with credentials for security and flexibility. Thorough testing and validation with sample data are crucial to ensure the workflow performs as expected and aligns with security incident response procedures.

What it does: This automation will dynamically create Slack channels for your Webflow forms and send formatted messages to those channels for every form submission you receive. When a new form is dedected, a message is sent in the #general Slack channel with a hyperlink to the new channel. This is useful for: Webflow form submissions can only notify a single user email as standard, but by using this workflow you can notify team members of new submissions instead of having to login into Webflow to go download form submissions. Use Case This workflow is beneficial when you're automatically adding new leads to your Pipedrive CRM. Usually, you'd have to manually review each lead to determine if they're a good fit. What this workflow does The workflow runs every 5 minutes. On every run, it checks your new Pipedrive leads and enriches them with Clearbit. It then marks items as enriched and checks if the company of the new lead matches certain criteria (in this case if they are B2B and have more than 100 employees) and sends a Slack alert to a channel for every match. Pre Conditions You must have Pipedrive, Clearbit, and Slack accounts. You also need to set up the custom fields Domain and Enriched at in Pipedrive. Setup Go to Company Settings -> Data fields -> Organization and add Domain as a custom field Go to Company Settings -> Data fields -> Leads and add Enriched at as a custom date field Add your Pipedrive, Clearbit and Slack credentials. Use case When working with multiple teams, bugs must get in front of the right team as quickly as possible to be resolved. Normally this includes a manual grooming of new bugs that have arrived in your ticketing system (in our case Linear). We found this way too time-consuming. That's why we built this workflow. What this workflow does This workflow triggers every time a Linear issue is created or updated within a certain team. For us at n8n, we created one general team called Engineering where all bugs get added in the beginning. The workflow then checks if the issue meets the criteria to be auto-moved to a certain team. In our case, that means that the description is filled, that it has the bug label, and that it's in the Triage state. The workflow then classifies the bug using OpenAI's GPT-4 model before updating the team property of the Linear issue. If the AI fails to classify a team, the workflow sends an alert to Slack. Setup Add your Linear and OpenAi credentials Change the team in the Linear Trigger to match your needs Customize your teams and their areas of responsibility in the Set me up node. Please use the format Teamname. Also, make sure that the team names match the names in Linear exactly. Change the Slack channel in the Set me up node to your Slack channel of choice. This workflow enriches new Pipedrive organization's data by adding a note to the organization object in Pipedrive. It assumes there is a custom "website" field in your Pipedrive setup, as data will be scraped from this website to generate a note using OpenAI. Node 2: ScrapingBee - Get Organization's Website's Homepage Content This node scrapes the content from the URL of the website associated with the Pipedrive Organization created in Node 1. The workflow uses the ScrapingBee API, but you can use any preferred API or simply the HTTP request node in n8n. Node 3: OpenAI - Message GPT-4o with Scraped Data This node sends HTML-scraped data from the previous node to the OpenAI GPT-4o model. The system prompt instructs the model to extract company data, such as products or services offered and competitors (if known by the model), and format it as HTML for optimal use in a Pipedrive Note. Node 4: Pipedrive - Create a Note with OpenAI Output This node adds a Note to the Organization created in Pipedrive using the OpenAI node output. The Note will include the company description, target market, selling products, and competitors (if GPT-4o was able to determine them). Node 5 & 6: HTML To Markdown & Code - Markdown to Slack Markdown These two nodes format the HTML output to Slack Markdown. The Note created in Pipedrive is in HTML format, as specified by the System Prompt of the OpenAI Node. To send it to Slack, it needs to be converted to Markdown and then to Slack Markdown. Node 7: Slack - Notify This node sends a message in Slack containing the Pipedrive Organization Note created with this workflow.

How it works A buyer's RFP is submitted to the workflow as a digital document that can be parsed. Our first AI agent scans and extracts all questions from the document into list form. The supplier sets up an OpenAI assistant prior loaded with company brand, marketing and technical documents. The workflow loops through each of the buyer's questions and poses these to the OpenAI assistant. Adding and removing attendees are also managed automatically. How it works Workflow monitors a Slack channel for invite messages with a "📅" reaction and sends this to the AI agent. Who is it for If you are a postmaster or you manage email server, you can set up DKIM and SPF records to ensure that spoofing your email address is hard. On your domain you can also set up DMARC record to receive XML reports from email providers (rua tag). Those reports contain data if email they received passed DKIM and SPF verifications. Since DMARC email is public, you will receive a lot of emails from email providers, not only if DKIM/SPF fail. There is no need for it - you probably only need to know if SPF/DKIM failed. So this script is intended to automatically parse all DMARC reports that come from email providers, but ONLY send you notification if SPF or DKIM failed - meaning that either someone tries to spoof your email or your DKIM/SPF is improperly set up. This is an example of how we can build a slack bot in a few easy steps Before you can start, you need to o a few things Create a copy of this workflow Create a slack bot Create a slash command on slack and paste the webhook url to the slack command Note Make sure to configure this webhook using a https:// wrapper and don't use the default http://localhost:5678 as that will not be recognized by your slack webhook. Once the data has been sent to your webhook, the next step will be passing it via an AI Agent to process data based on the queries we pass to our agent. To have some sort of a memory, be sure to set the slack token to the memory node. This way you can refer to other chats from the history. The final message is relayed back to slack as a new message. Since we can not wait longer than 3000 ms for slack response, we will create a new message with reference to the input we passed. We can advance this using the tools or data sources for it to be more custom tailored for your company. Usage To use the slackbot, go to slack and click on your set slash command eg /Bob and send your desired message.
